MYPRAD
MYPRAD has been devised as a means for schools and Clusters to look carefully at their practice and identify key points for improvement, develop a plan, initiate improvement and monitor change.
Mordialloc Cluster will focus on four aspects of the MYPRAD vision -
- Middle Years practice in our schools will encourage engagement of students in learning and thinking, to increase students commitment to life long learning.
- Students in the middle years will experience a curriculum attuned to the needs of adolescent learners. The aim being that our students will increasingy engage with significant learning and experience a connectedness with the ethos and practices of their school.
- Middle years classrooms will be innovative and active places, with strong links to the community and with a clear focus on supporting students to become autonomous thinkers and learners within a stimulating environment.
- Teachers will work together to develop a shared vision and program for the middle years that will focus on deep understandings of teaching and learning principles.
